Let’s work together.

I help you achieve your goals in a number of ways.

  1. Working from the ground up.  As humans, we have fully interconnected systems: mind, body, and spirit. When one part goes out of balance, the others tend to follow, but rather than simply addressing the surface issue, I want to get to the root. My approach utilizes progressive therapies that link these systems, treating them as one, rather than as separate entities; for example, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Neurofeedback, and/or Synergetic Play Therapy. In doing so, I work with my clients to re-establish balance, fluidity, and whole-system healing.
  2. Through collaboration with your existing support system.  Oftentimes my clients are working with other professionals on their healing journey, whether that be doctors, psychologists, school counsellors, and/or teachers. In my experience, working together tends to be a uniquely successful strategy. With your permission, I work with your other healthcare providers to facilitate a unified strategy for healing; combining our efforts and working together as your team.
  3. With the help of family and community.  We heal together. As naturally social creatures, we heal best when we are surrounded by people who have our back. These groups of people come in all shapes and sizes (and it certainly does not look the same for everyone), but big or small, community is a force to be reckoned with. Participating in a healthy community has the ability to bring healing, to encourage continued health, and to maintain purpose and energy in life. I work with you and your family to identify ways in which your community can provide support and I offer tools for how to advocate for your needs and ask for help.

I am here to support you and your mental health, by working with the whole you. In taking this holistic approach in my practice, my intention is to help you re-form your life to allow for greater ease, health, and happiness.
